We are a local and independent charity, we are responsible for all our own fundraising and rely heavily on the support of local individuals, companies and trusts.

Our services can only touch the tip of the iceberg of older people that need our help and support. With your help we can reach more people. In addition, you can be assured that every penny of your donation will stay on the Island to support vulnerable older people in your community.

We are a completely independent charity that works solely on the Isle of Wight for the benefit of local residents.

These are just a few examples of how your donations can make a difference:

  • £3 will help one of our telephone befrienders to continue to be the friendly and dependable voice on the end of the line for some of the Island’s most isolated people.
  • £5 would help our Good Neighbour Scheme to match a volunteer with a vulnerable older person, offering them companionship and personal support.
  • £10 will help our Care Navigators to assist an older person to access the best support for them, helping to retain independence, achieve personal goals and make the most of life.
