Age UK statement on Aid Call Ltd

Published on 08 September 2016 11:01 PM

We are pleased to confirm that the ownership of Age UK Personal Alarms and its parent company, Aid-Call Ltd, has been transferred to AXA PPP healthcare Group. AXA PPP healthcare is a well-known, successful company that operates both here in the UK and in many other countries across the world.

This transition brings together Age UK's understanding of older people and AXA PPP healthcare's expertise.

Customers of the Personal Alarm service will continue to receive the same excellent service from the same Aid-Call staff.

The Age UK Community Interest Company (CIC) will also continue to be involved and going forward will work with AXA PPP healthcare Group.

We are writing to all customers of the Personal Alarm service to make them aware of this news. Customers can be assured that there will be no change to their service. However, if customers need any more information or have any questions please telephone 0800 032 3690, or write to us at either customerletter@ageuk.co.uk or at Age UK Personal Alarms, Aid-Call Limited, Linhay House, Linhay Business Park, Ashburton, Devon, TQ13 7UP.
