Independence at Home Manager

Age UK Leeds provides a range of services in the community, which have been specifically developed to meet the needs of older people. 

Independence at Home Manager ref: IHM1.16

NJC SO1 Salary £25,440         37 Hours per week

As Independence at Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of care coordinators and support workers engaged in a range of services including Macmillan Prostate Cancer Support and Mental Health Hospital After Care. In addition to supporting and supervising staff, you will also be responsible for monitoring and be expected to engage with funders and other stakeholders over the funding and development of the services.

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, strategic with the ability to work with a wide range of people.  Experience of managing staff is essential for this post. Good organisational and influencing skills are also essential. You will be based at our city centre office in the Bradbury Building.
