Social Care Manager- (SCM1.15)

35 Hours per week. Salary NJC Scale SO1 : £25,440 

 

As a Social Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of case workers, care coordinators and support workers engaged in services for Making the Link, Macmillan Prostate Cancer Support and Mental Health Hospital After Care. In addition to supporting and supervising staff, you will also be responsible for monitoring and be expected to engage with funders and other stakeholders over the funding and development of the services.

 

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, strategic with the ability to work with a wide range of people.

 

Experience of managing staff is essential for this post. Good organisational and influencing skills are also essential.

 

You will be based at our city centre office in the Bradbury Building.

Cafe Assistant - (CFAS1.15)

Salary £6.50 p/hr 3-4 shifts per week [over 6 days] occasional events and Sundays.

 

As a Café Assistant you will assist in the day to day running of the café and catering services.

 

You will maintain high standards of customer service and food presentation.

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to prapare food and hot beverages throughout the day and provide a high quality of customer service at all times.

 

Experience of working in a busy catering environment is essential for this post.

 

Experience of cash handling and a level 2 food hygiene certificate would be of a distinct advantage.

 

You will be based in the Arch Café, Bradbury Building.
