Connect Well - Wellbeing Coordinator

Age UK Leeds provides a range of services in the community, which have been specifically developed to meet the needs of older people. Working in partnership with Community Links, One Medical Group and Feel Good Factor we are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to develop, promote and deliver a new, unique social prescribing service in North Leeds.

Salary £20,253 pro rata: 33 hours per week

As a member of the team you will make a real difference to the lives of others by shaping this new project.  You will be a keen advocate of the benefits of supporting people with health and social care needs, accessing primary care services to access support in their community by linking them to a network of groups and activities and enabling them to have improved health and wellbeing. 

You will have relevant experience and be an effective communicator with a passion for excellence in your professional field.  What is essential is that you love what you do.  We want you to enjoy coming to work every day and to care about your job, your colleagues and our service users.

You will be working mainly with GP practices in Wetherby and will also have access to the Connect Well office in the Reginald Centre, Chapeltown, as well as our city centre office in the Bradbury Building.

Enterprise Director                            

Age UK Leeds provides a range of services and products in the community, which have been specifically developed to meet the needs of older people. We are now looking for an Enterprise Director 

Salary £ 32,778: 37 hours per week

As the Enterprise Director you will be responsible for leading the teams that deliver the charity’s income generating services and ventures.

The successful candidate will have the financial management skills to survive in a target based environment. Extensive experience in a proactive sales environment and a proven track record of business development and meeting/exceeding sales targets is essential for this post. Experience of CQC regulated services would be a distinct advantage.

You will be based at the Bradbury Building in Leeds.

Finance Director

Age UK Leeds provides a range of services and products in the community, which have been specifically developed to meet the needs of older people. We are now looking for a Finance Director 

Salary £32,778 (pro rata): Average 1 day (7.5 hours) per week

As the Finance Director you will be responsible for the organisation’s strategic financial management.  You will oversee the finance function, the preparation of management and statutory accounts and budget setting.  You will lead on risk management and act as the Company Secretary.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with proven experience of leading a finance function and contributing to the strategic leadership of an organisation.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to share your technical knowledge with colleagues and the Board.  Knowledge of charity accounting and experience of the third sector would be a distinct advantage.

You will be based at the Bradbury Building in Leeds.
