Shop Thefts!

Sadly, over the last nine weeks our shops have been broken in to five times. As you may imagine, this has impacted greatly on us and we are appealing for your help.

These break-ins have been costly to us. Thieves have not only stolen stock but they have damaged equipment including tills, display cabinets, windows and doors which has cost us greatly to repair and replace. Additionally we have lost income due to temporary shop closures whilst we have put things back in order.

All of this has resulted in a reduction of funds invested in to the services and support we can offer older people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

You can help by donating stock including pre-loved clothes, shoes, books, DVD’s homeware, bric-a-brac and even furniture. Any smaller items can be dropped off in one of our shops. Larger items can be collected. In order to arrange a collection please contact us on 0116 299 2233

If you would like to donate cash to help us support local older people just go to our home page (http://www.ageuk.org.uk/leics/ ) and click on the donate button.
