Help in the Home
Help in the Home is a domestic support service that provides help and support within your home, helping you to stay safe and independent.
How it works
You will be allocated a home support worker who will visit your home and carry out domestic tasks that you require. This includes general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, ironing, light meal preparation, pension collection and shopping.
How much does it cost?
The service charge is £9.50 per hour excluding Grantham which is £10 per hour.
Booking the service
If you are interested in having the Help in the Home service call 01522 696 000 to speak to a customer service advisor who will discuss your requirements and arrange for a Help in the Home Co-ordinator to visit your home to carry out a risk assessments and discuss and book the service.
The Co-ordinator will then allocate you a Home Support Worker who will arrange to visit your home to carry out the tasks required. A minimum of an hour per week is required and if you are happy with the service the Home Support Worker will be allocated to you permanently.
For security and safety all of our staff are covered by Insurance and CRB checked.
