"Life is precious, your time is valuable"
Age UK Lincoln could not provide many of the valuable services that it does currently without the help and support of our many wonderful volunteers.
We always need more volunteers and offering as little as 2 hours a week can make a real difference to someone's life. You have a great deal to offer the older community of Lincoln, even by just being there you can help bring happiness into many lives. As well as the satisfaction that helping the elderly can give you and the friends you can make in doing so, being a volunteer is a good way of gaining experience in a working environment.
Volunteering can and should be a rewarding experience for both the service user and the volunteer. Age UK Lincoln has a wide range of opportunities within our organisation offering volunteers a choice of experiences.
All of our volunteers have been CRB checked and have gone through in-house induction training for all volunteering opportunities within Age UK Lincoln. Our volunteers give their free time on a voluntary basis and whilst we will do our very best to meet your needs, our volunteers cannot be on hand 24 hours a day.
For further information on volunteering, contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator on 01522 696 000.
We need volunteers to help with the following services. For further information on volunteering with us, please contact the volunteering team on 01522 696 000.
