 Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven is a fast growing, forward thinking and friendly organisation.

 As the Volunteer Administrator you will support the Volunteer Coordinators to develop, promote and support all volunteering services and volunteering opportunities on behalf Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven. This role involves the completion of all administration tasks in order for the department to meet the organisation’s needs through recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers.

 The successful applicant is required to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.  The ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels is essential to the role. Strong organisational and IT skills, with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.

 A kind, enthusiastic and empathetic nature along with an appreciation of the needs of older adults is required. Knowledge and experience of working with volunteers and the volunteer sector is desirable.

 Applicants will have a proactive approach, be able to think creatively, work independently and also effectively as part of a team.  Self-motivation and a strong commitment to service excellence is required with the ability to inspire individuals to develop within their volunteer role.
