With around 470 shops, more than 170 local Age UKs /Age Cymru partners and loads of friendship centres, community forums and other local groups, the Age UK family spreads far and wide.

Home visits

Sometimes, we all need some support. Our local Age UKs and local Age Cymru partners offer a variety of services locally and can also recommend other ways to get help.

Volunteer

No matter how much - or little - time you have to spare, there's a way for you to get involved. 

From being a handyperson or insurance arranger to helping in a shop or befriending someone living alone, you can use your skills and interests to help make a difference to people in later life where you live.

Contact your local Age UK, local Age Cymru partner, or nearest Age UK shop and offer your services.

Friendship centres

It’s easy to meet new friends, try new activities or share something you enjoy in your local area. Age UK supports more than 85 friendship centres across England and works with a network of 600 independent forums of older people.
