Help the Aged in Northern Ireland. Age NI is a member of the Age UK family.
The new force combining &
Age NI educates, campaigns and lobbies the NI Executive, the NI Assembly and Government Authorities to ensure that older people’s issues are represented at the highest level.
Our policy team is challenging government to tackle the barriers ofpoverty, discrimination and to improve health & social care provision. Recent campaigns include working with our partners in the age sector to successfully secure 80,000 additional fuel payments (worth £12.5 million) for older people and ongoing lobbying for an Older People’s Commissioner.
