Age NI and BT have developed a partnership to help people stay connected in later life.
BT has helped improve later life in Northern Ireland by supporting Age NI events and iniatives throughout the year, from the Brand Launch in April 2010 to the launch of Age NI's Strategic Plan 2011-2016. This 5 year plan outlines the charity’s work across seven strategic priority areas and looks at how Age NI is working to improve the lives of 350,000 older people in Northern Ireland.
Anne O’Reilly, Chief Executive, said, ‘The development of this document is an important milestone for Age NI, following the merger of Age Concern Northern Ireland and Help the Aged in NI in 2009, to deliver services for older people in the face of new and growing challenges driven by the dynamics of both financial and political environments in NI. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands who took the time to engage and respond and for the support received from BT in the making of this publication.’
BT also provides excellent products and services to help older people stay connected.
