Get drawing, painting or snapping as we launch our Celebrate & Give initiative.
Budding artists and photographers are given a chance to show off their talents, by designing our new Celebrate & Give thank you cards. The winning design will be produced as a thank you card/e-card for donations in lieu of gifts which supporters can order to send out to family and friends.
The theme of the design is ‘Thanks & Celebration.’ We encourage a wide range of entries. There are no restrictions on style – artwork and photography are welcome and can be traditional or contemporary.
The deadline for entries is 31st August 2010

Finalists will be announced in September and the winner of this exciting competition will be announced in October. As well as having the satisfaction of seeing their design mass produced, the winning entrant will also receive flowers and champagne.
The judging panel will comprise of Age NI representatives.
1. This competition is open to all residents in Northern Ireland over theage of 18‚ who must submit a photograph of their entry to the Age NICelebrate & Give Thank You Card Design Competition and completetheir details on this entry form.2. The theme of the artwork must be ‘Thanks & Celebration’ The style ofthe artwork can be traditional or contemporary. The medium can beeither artwork or photograph.3. No purchase necessary. The prize is non-transferable and nonrefundable.No cash alternative is available.4. Entries must be sent to Claire Smyth, Age NI, 3 Lower Crescent, BelfastBT7 1NR. Entries received without a completed entry form will not beaccepted.5. 3 short listed entrants will be selected in September 2010 and will beasked to submit original artwork no larger than A3. All work must bethe original work of the entrant to the competition and must notinfringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. Originalartwork will be returned once the winner is announced.6. Judges at Age NI will then choose one winner whose entry will beturned into an Age NI Celebrate & Give Thank You Card.7. Age NI will hold the intellectual property rights to the winning entryfor 3 years from the date the winner is announced.8. The winner will be notified by 31st October 2010. The winner will bepublished on www.ageni.org on 1st November 2010.9. The winner may be required to take part in publicity activity.Entry to the competition is deemed as acceptance of these terms andconditions. Age NI reserves the right to withdraw the promotion atany time if events or circumstances occur outside its control whichmakes this necessary.
