What made me buy a ticket...
"Age NI provided an Aid Call alarm product to my mother and it gave her a great sense of independence and security - and that's what made me buy the ticket!"
Previous winner, Mrs McManus, Belfast
How your support will help
Age NI delivers care services, provides advice and advocacy and influences our decision-makers to improve later life for us all. We tackle ageism where we face it, fight for enough money for older people to live in dignity and demand the quality of care that people in later life deserve.
How difficult it must be for older people...
"When my mother was diagnosed with dementia, as a family, we were for the first time, thrown into an area that we were totally unfamiliar with. We are continuing in our efforts to keep mum in her own home for as long as possible. However, it does make you realise how difficult it must be for older people who have no family and no one to speak or represent them."
Previous winner, Mrs Jill Harvey, Belfast
