BBC Northern Ireland are running a television appeal this Sunday, Monday & Tuesday on behalf of Age NI.
Produced by Iain Webster, the 10 minute appeal will be broadcast as the BBC Lifeline in Northern Ireland appeal, this Sunday at 16:05 on BBC One. The broadcast will be repeated on Monday at 23:05 on BBC One and Tuesday at 13:45 on BBC Two. The appeal will highlight the highly valued work that Age NI provides for older people in Northern Ireland.
Age NI delivers care services, provides advice and advocacy, campaigns, fundraises and influences our decision-makers to improve later life for us all.
A pre-broadcast interview with Anne O'Reilly, Chief Executive of Age NI, is available to view now. In it she speaks about how difficult it can be for some older people in Northern Ireland:
