Well done to Sharon McKeown from Ballyhalbert who scooped first prize of £3000 in the Age NI Summer Raffle.

Sharon, who was presented with her winnings from Glynis Ellison, Manager at Age NI’s Portaferry Day Centre, said, ‘I like to support the Age NI raffle because, having worked with older people throughout my working life, I realise what a huge difference social day centres, like the Age NI Day Centre in Portaferry, make to the lives of older people who may otherwise feel extremely isolated and lonely.’

Other Age NI raffle prize winners were John Thompson from Lisburn who received 2nd prize of £500 and Louise Doogan from Enniskillen who won 3rd prize of £250.

Linda Parker, Donor Manager at Age NI added, ‘I would like to thank everyone who continues to support our raffles and help fund vital services that improve the lives of older people all over Northern Ireland.’
