Downpatrick and District Soroptimists International hosted a special film screening at The Tudor Cinema, Comber in support of Age NI.

Moviegoers enjoyed The Exotic Marigold Hotel and kindly raised £605 to improve the lives of older people.

Siobhan Casey, Age NI Marketing Director, said, 'I would like to take this opportunity to thank Maria Duggan, President of Downpatrick & District Soroptimists and club members, for organising such a wonderful movie night to help people in later life.'

'We’re also delighted with the support of Noel Spence, owner of The Tudor Cinema, for his fantastic venue and hospitality.'

'And finally, we are exceptionally grateful for the generosity of all the moviegoers who turned out to enjoy the night’s entertainment.'
