The UEFA Euro 2012 Quarter Finals have started, with just one week left until the big final on Sunday 1 July. 2012 is also the European Year of Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. It's a year full of excitement!
Why not make the most of it by raising some money for Age NI. Here are a few ideas of how to turn these few weeks of hope, elation and (possibly) despair into cash to improve life for older people.
Pay per view
Why not invite your friends for a 'Euro 2012' party where you watch the football together. Offer up some snacks and a few drinks. Then set up a for Age NI and ask your friends to make a donation in return.

Donate per goal
Everytime your favourite team scores a goal donate by text. Get your family and friends involved and share it online!
- To donate £1 text 'EURO20 £1' to 70070
- To donate £2 text 'EURO20 £2' to 70070
- To donate £5 text 'EURO20 £5' to 70070
Each SMS message will cost £1, £2 or £5 respectively, plus one message at your standard network rate. Age NI will recieve 100% of your donation. After sending your SMS, you will receive a gift aid form. If you complete this, your donation will automatically increase by 25%.
There are lots of other ways to raise money from donations to raffles, competitions to barbeques. It’s up to you how you celebrate, we would just love you to get involved and help out with our fundraising.
