As part of Explore Your Archive Week 2014, the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) will be hosting a week of events to fit in with the daily themes.
The week will commenced on Monday the 10th November with #Dayinthelife being the first theme of the week - to mark this PRONI will be hosting a lunchtime talk on Flickr portraits which capture 'a day in the life' starting at 1pm.
On the 11th November the theme quite befittingly is #WW1Archive to mark this on armistice day PRONI are playing host to a 1/2 day conference on Women and the First World War as well as Trevor Parkhill's book launch of the Emma Duffin Diaries. A voluntary Aid Detatchment Nurse during the First World War. These events are starting at 2pm.
On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th November the themes are #Askarchivists and #Archiveselfie respectively. To mark these days we will be hosting open days with a number of practical workshops and behind the scenes tours.
On Thursday 13th November especially with #archiveselfie particiants in the workshops will be encouraged to post photographs of themselves working in PRONI on Facebook or Twitter.

And finally on Friday 14th November #Archiveanimals there will be a rolling loop of animal images from the archives on the AV systems in the building.
