Millbrook Community Centre, Larne will host a Summer tea dance to celebrate the success of Age NI’s Befriending project supporting older people at risk of loneliness and social isolation in the Larne, Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus areas.

The event will take place on Friday 14 June at 6.30pm with a live performance from local musician, Eddie the Music Man.

Una Mulgrew, Project Coordinator, said, ‘All volunteers, befriendees, family and friends are warmly welcome – the more the merrier! The Age NI befriending project is a very worthwhile service that provides practical support, social contact and access to activities and services to local older people who often feel lonely or isolated. We are looking forward to a great evening and hope everyone can join us.’

This event is supported by AES Ballylumford. To register your attendance, please contact Una Mulgrew on 0743 596 0543 or email befriending@ageni.org
