Are you a local business that likes to aim high? Is your team interested in reaching a different kind of target?
People 1st certainly is!
The training centre in Belfast aims to win the Age NI Charity Challenge on 25 March, in association with Treasure Trails NI, and is urging other local organisations in NI to take up the challenge.
25 corporate teams will compete against each other at 13 Belfast locations to raise money for Age NI, the local charity for older people, and have fun with their colleagues. They will be solving mystery clues and tackling terrific tasks like archery or abseiling. The event begins with registration and refreshments at the Radisson BLU Hotel Belfast, finishing with buffet, drinks and prize ceremony at The Ivory, Victoria Square in the afternoon.
People 1st Director, Bernie Daly, said, ‘We feel that Age NI is a worthy charity to support as we offer all age apprenticeships throughout NI. Secondly, the team work element of the challenge provides us with an opportunity to have fun and a little competition amongst staff, participating and supporting.’
Briege Price, Age NI Fundraising Manager said, ‘The Age NI Charity Challenge is a chance for local business to battle their wits against each other to win! It’s also a great opportunity to mix team building with Corporate Social Responsibility needs, support the community, enjoy a fun day to remember and raise money for Age NI.’
There are limited spaces available. To sign up a local business or organisation for the challenge, call 028 9024 5729 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and receive a registration and sponsorship pack.
