The Verbal Arts Centre is pleased to announce the launch of the second iStory Programme - a free Digital Story Training Programme for the over 50s.

iStory is a digital story training programme funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and is being delivered in association with AGE NI. 
This is the second digital story training programme and it is due to begin the week of 16 April 2012 for a five week period. The training programme will be held in the following locations from 10am - 1pm:

  • Crescent Arts Centre, 2-4 University Road, Belfast, BT7 1NH.
  • Ballymoney Community Resources Centre, Unit 22/23 Acorn Business Centre, 2 Riada Avenue, Ballymoney, BT53 7LH. 
  • Verbal Arts Centre, Stable Lane and Mall Wall, Bishop Street Within, Derry, BT48 6PU

A digital story is a story told by weaving photographs, video recordings, narrative, text and music together.  It is a simple way for ordinary people to share aspects of their life stories. 

iStory training programme is specifically designed for the over 50s.
