Age NI Announces Car Raffle Winner
Mrs Lorna Thompson from Holywood, Co. Down is the lucky winner of a brand new Renault Twingo, in association with Charles Hurst Renault, taking first prize in the recent Age NI Summer Raffle.
Second and third prizes were awarded to Mrs B. McNeice from Armagh & Ms M. Cree from Belfast who won £1,000 and £500 respectively.
Lorna said, 'My husband and I have supported the Age NI raffle for several years. We are very pleased to have won such a great prize.'
Charles Hurst Fleet Account Manager, Terry Murray said, 'Charles Hurst is delighted to support Age NI. We feel very proud to be associated with the charity to support its work and fundraising activities wherever we can. As our older population grows, we find we can really reap the rewards of working together with Age NI in helping older people lead richer and fuller lives. I would like to congratulate Mrs Thompson on her win and I hope she enjoys miles of satisfaction and enjoyment with her new Twingo.'
Thanks to the support of people throughout Northern Ireland, the Summer Raffle raised a total of over £68,000. The fundraising activities of Age NI are important to help the charity to continue to raise vital funds that make a real difference to the lives of people in later life.
