Age NI Belfast

Age Concern NI and Help the Aged in Northern Ireland have years of shared history, caring for many, campaigning for change, and delivering vital services.

If those experiences taught us one thing, it’s that there is strength in numbers. That is why we joined together to create a new charity and from 26 March 2010, we will be known by our new name, Age NI.

The Age NI Communications Team is available to answer any questions you might have about ageing in Northern Ireland. We can provide you with an Age NI comment, help you source interviews and sign-post you to further opportunities.

Sometimes our charity family Age Cymru, Age Scotland and Age UK issue press releases that relate only to GB or are relevant to the UK but don’t have a local focus. We are always available to help you find a specific Northern Ireland angle to your story.

We believe that age needs respect. It needs empathy. Sometimes age needs support. Above all, age needs a voice and now it has one - Age NI.
