Befriending
Age UK Norwich has a long-established befriending service, through which we can offer friendship, advice and advocacy to people in the comfort and security of their own home.
Our volunteer befrienders agree to visit a person regularly. These visits can help lessen the sense of isolation and depression often experienced by older people, and encourage independence and friendship.
