Residents Representative/Advocate

Hours: 17 hours per week (to be worked on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)

Salary: £8,563 per annum (£18,639-£20,400 per annum FTE)

Location: Nottingham

Tenure: fixed term until 31st March 2016

 

You will provide independent advocacy/representation and support around the new enhanced primary care service which aligns a care home to a named GP practice.

 

You will liaise with professionals/agencies, whilst remaining independent and keeping the residents’ wishes at the forefront of everything you do. The primary functions of the role are to understand the needs of care home residents, provide representation and advocacy support where appropriate.

 

Full UK Driver’s licence, use of car, and willingness to obtain business use insurance is essential.
