The Central Services Department provides clerical and administrative support to all other services within Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire and its subsidiaries. The department acts as the central hub of the organisation providing a telephone overflow service for the main switchboard answering callers queries and includes signposting or referring to other services as appropriate. This will involve opening mail, preparation of work for mailing to include photocopying, labeling etc and other general office type duties. The successful candidate will also provide cover for reception and assist with answering overflow calls from reception.
The successful candidate will be comfortable meeting and greeting personal callers to Bradbury House and signposting them to the relevant person, project, service or other external service in a professional and efficient way.
Previous experience of providing a high level of Customer Service as well as previous experience of working within a clerical role is essential, as well as good IT skills, using Microsoft Office.
