Hours: 9 hours per week, (2 hours Mon, Tue & Wed, 1 ½ hours Thurs & Fri)

Salary: £6.56 per hour (£12,614 per annum FTE, AUNN point 6)

Based: Sybil Levin Centre, Nuthall Road, Cinderhill, Nottingham

Tenure: Permanent

 

The Sybil Levin Centre is a multi-purpose facility providing a range of day services and activities for older people aged over 55 in the Nottingham and Cinderhill areas. The upper floor provides office space for the Advocacy Team and other services.

 

The successful candidate will ensure the day centre rooms, offices, toilets and kitchenette are kept in a tidy and clean condition. Previous cleaning experience preferred.

Salary: £18,638 per annum

Scale: AUNN points 20-23, (£18,638 - £20,400 per annum FTE)

Based: TBC

Tenure: Fixed term for one year from date of commencement.

 

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting older or vulnerable people to achieve positive wellbeing outcomes by helping them to manage their life style and health conditions. You will assist older people in navigating health, social care and voluntary sector services. You will work with people with a range of needs including social isolation, lack of engagement in their community and people at risk of unnecessary admission to hospital and to care homes. The successful candidate will manage a team of volunteers to assist individuals to achieve their goals.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as well as a good understanding of the needs and concerns of older people.

Hours: part time, 30 hours per week

Salary: £17,622 per annum for 30 hours

Scale: AUNN points 25-26, (£21,734 - £22,443 per annum FTE)

Based: Bradbury House, Nottingham

Tenure: Permanent

 

We are looking to recruit an Information & Advice Volunteer Co-ordinator to recruit, induct, train (with the support of externally produced materials) and support a team of approximately 20 volunteer advisers who provide welfare rights advice including income maximisation checks, form completions, and signposting to other relevant services.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to effectively lead, support and nurture a volunteer advice team to deliver quality advice. Ideally you will be from an advice or a related background.
