Before you buy

To buy Age UK Travel Insurance, just follow these simple steps:

Remember there is no upper age limit and you can cover your medical conditions wherever possible^.

• Decide if you would like Single Trip or Annual Multi–trip cover.
• Check if you already have personal possessions cover on your home insurance. If you have personal possessions cover away from your home as part of your home contents policy, you could save up to 10% by excluding personal possessions cover from your Travel Insurance policy. 
• Decide if you want to remove the excess amounts. It will add a small extra cost to your premium, but then you won’t need to pay the first portion of any claim that you make. 
• Winter Sports cover is included automatically up to 17 days under the Annual Multi-trip policy but a higher premium applies for Single Trip cover. 
• Let us know which countries you are travelling to for Single Trip cover, or the countries/regions you expect to be travelling to for an Annual Multi-trip policy.
• You will need to answer questions regarding the health of all travellers to be insured. Pre-existing medical conditions are covered subject to medical screening and acceptance by underwriters.
