Why service design matters?

The afternoon plenary session of the conference focused on 'service design', with key speakers addressing what 'service design' actually is, the importance of service design and sharing examples of best practice. Prior to the conference, a conversation was facilitated via twitter to find out more about what our followers thought on the issue, from how small changes could make a big difference and the extent to which consumers are involved in the design of services?
