Thirteen grants were awarded, three for Fellowships (one each of each type) and ten for PhD Studentships, at a total value of £971,857 excluding contributions made by the host institution of the Senior Fellowship to the cost of that award (50%) and the British Geriatrics Society to the cost of the Clinical Fellowship (50%).
