    Asking for donations in lieu of gift is a beautiful way of showing your loved ones you care. Instead of unwanted gifts, you’ll be helping older people in your area.

    Celebrate the life of a loved one. Ask for donations in lieu of flowers at their funeral. You may also want to pay tribute by making a special gift to Age UK Rotherham in their memory.

Donate unwanted items of furniture

We accept donations of good quality saleable items of furniture to sell in our Furniture Warehouse. We can collect larger items free of charge and all proceeds will help us to help older people. Give us a call on 01709 786 959 or message us on Facebook @aukrfurniture

What your donation could do

  • £3 per month could help pay towards a weekly call to an older person.

  • £5 per month could help answer a call to our advice line from a vulnerable older person in need of support.

  • £30 single donation will help us provide an outreach Information and Advice visit to support an older person.

Donate your car

Do you own a vehicle that you don't use anymore? You can now donate it to us through Giveacar. You'll get free collection of your vehicle and you'll be helping us to make life better for older people in Rotherham.
