Age Scotland's Community Development team works in partnership with our member groups, Regional Ambassadors, and voluntary and statutory organisations across the country to make Scotland’s communities better places for older people.

Projects and Partnerships

  • Mens Sheds

    Working to alleviate social isolation, we are working to drive the Mens Shed movement in Scotland. Locate your local shed or find out more about setting one up in your area.
  • Inter-generational Projects

    The 'Get Set for Community Action' in association with the 2017 Olympics & Paralympics brings together older people's groups and schools.
  • Walking Football

    We are working with Paths for All to spread the word about Walking Football groups across the country. This includes the Walking Football event to be held June 2016.
