Duns Senior Citizens Club aims to provide a social place for older residents of Duns. They meet once a fortnight on Friday afternoons to enjoy films, talks, and activities such as shopping trips.
As well as offering opportunities to socialise, the Club enables older people to keep informed on matters of importance to them, for example through a talk on prescriptions from a local pharmacist.
The group is primarily for older residents living near Duns.
Duns Senior Citizens Club can be contacted via the local Age Scotland Development Officer.

The group has received grants over two consecutive years from Age Scotland.
Since receiving these grants the Club has increased its membership and is now lively, very active, and keen to try out new activities.
- Morag Halliday, Age Scotland Development Officer
Due to the grant our members enjoy some extra special treats, which our own fundraising initiatives could not provide.
