Age UK Somerset is an independent local charity leading teams of staff and volunteers to provide information and services that create opportunities for older people in later life.
Hours: Part-time, 14 hrs/week (potential to increase to 28 hrs/week Spring 2018)
Salary: £7,586.96 pa (£18,967.41 FTE) + generous pension contribution
Age UK Somerset is currently recruiting into this interesting and varied role working at the heart of our operation, within our well-established and supportive Administration Team.
The post-holder will provide administrative support to the organisation and support the Administration Manager, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer care.
We are therefore seeking an experienced administrator with excellent organisational and team-working skills as well as having a commitment to provide an excellent service. The successful candidate will be an administration generalist with excellent working knowledge of MS Word and a keen interest in databases and reporting. This role also involves assisting the Administration Manager in relation to I.T. liaison and services support and deputising in their absence.
