Day Services
Day services and centres offer support for older people who live within the local community. The service provides opportunities for time out of the house, in a safe, stimulating and fun environment.
The services are managed by our staff, but led by our older members, who choose the daily activities or plan ahead for special events.
Benefits of our day services
A regular day or morning out provides good company and fun, as well as improving general well-being, maintaining skills and independence offering the opportunity to learn something new and providing mental and physical stimulation.  Day services are also key to combatting loneliness for older people.
The time out is also a way of providing regular respite for carers and those who require care.
