We work with many organisations in Surrey including: Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Social Care Groups, Borough Councils, Surrey County Council and Local Authorities. We also work with our brand partners and brand friends to reach the people who can benefit from our services. We have to raise all of our own funds in order to provide our services to the local people in Surrey.

We at Age UK Surrey are committed to providing equality of service, access and facilities to all our staff, volunteers, service users and visitors. In doing this we will continue to make every effort to ensure adjustments are made as a matter of course and if needs be we will explore what these might be on an individual basis.
Our building’s accessibility
Our building is on the first floor and up a few exterior steps outside and then a full range of steps. We understand that the building may present some access challenges, particularly for people with limited mobility or those who might use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. We have a Stannah stair lift after the few steps outside and if you ring the bell reception will help you. We have a private room but please ring in advance if you can 01483 503414.
We do not have a Day Centre but our services can be accessed by phone (number above) or in many cases we can come and see you.
Where we are
We are near the train station, just cross over from the station and then cross the bridge by the Odeon Cinema and turn left past the law courts. We are at Rex House William Road Guildford GU1 4QZ. The bus station is 10 minutes walk away.
We have disabled parking on site, some free offsite parking nearby we have pay car parks (six minutes walk).
Inside the building
The reception staff will greet you as you arrive and are there to answer any immediate queries you may have. Our waiting area has plenty of seating with cold water, hot drinks and toilet facilities if you require.
We have a hearing loop on reception for people who are hard of hearing or deaf.

All of our staff and volunteers are trained to provide a courteous and hospitable service and are knowledgeable in providing information on accessibility in our premises.
