Green Buddies is a space for people to come together, share knowledge and engage in practical activities while building social and community ties and boosting sustainability.

The Green Buddies allotment in Roundshaw is fully equipped with a shed, gardening equipment and tea/coffee making facilities as well as tables and chairs for people to take a break and relax. Come along and share your gardening knowledge or try your hand at it, we welcome all levels of experience.

There is an eco-portaloo on site, the allotments are accessible by public transport and there is street parking right outside the allotment.

Who can join?

All older men and women aged 50 and over are invited to be a part of Green Buddies. As a Green Buddy, you will have the opportunity to utilize your gardening skills, as well as share and develop your knowledge.

Beginners are more than welcome, as Green Buddies is an excellent space to learn about gardening. Together, you and your fellow Green Buddies can discuss plans for your allotment, including what to grow, and how best to use the fruits (and vegetables) of your labour.

How to get involved?

After visiting us onece, you can arrange to come along whichever day suits you best.

Getting to the alloment plot:
The allotment plot is situated on Forresters Drive, in Wallington. 
The nearby bus stops are The Newlands stop S and F: 154, 455.
