Make a difference, become an Age UK Digital Champion

Over 5.7 million people aged 65+ have never been online and are missing out on the enjoyment it can bring them. Over half of older people online use it to keep in touch with friends and family.

An Age UK Digital Champion engages with an older person - whether a friend, family member or neighbour - to support them in learning new ways to communicate, keep in touch and build relationships.

This could be through:
> Skyping
> Texting
> Emailing

Help support this cause by signing up to be an Age UK Digital Champion.

Campaigning for you

Age UK Tameside also works to raise awareness and campaign on issues throughout the year.
