Who are we?

As of December 18th 2020, Age UK Mid Devon is permanently closed and no longer operating as an organisation. Prior to that date, we were an independent local charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life. Age UK Mid Devon is a registered charity (no. 1070792) and company limited by guarantee (no. 3566678). The registered address is The Haven Centre, Broad Lane, EX16 5HE. We also work with Age UK.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example when you make a donation or contact us to make an enquiry.

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, date of birth, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. If you make a donation online, your card information is not held by us. Donations are redirected to www.justgiving.com and payments are made via that site. 

How is your information used?

Age UK Mid Devon no longer stores or processes your personal data. All current personal data held at the time of closure has been passed to a thirdy party for storage. This trusted third party will not further process your data, and will only access data if required for a legal claim or other legal obligation.

Who has access to your information?

Following the closure of the charity, any current personal data held on the 18th December 2020 has been transferred to a third party, Bluegrass. They will not further process or access your personal data, unless it is to comply with a legal obligation or to process a claim.

Third Party Service Providers:

When you are using our secure online donation pages, your donation is processed by a third party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.

We may transfer your personal information to a third party if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or protect the rights, property or safety of our supporters and customers. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Your choices

If you submit a form via our website, your data will not be used to contact you for marketing purposes.

|Following the closure of the charity, no personal data will be used for marketing purposes in any form, even with prior consent from the data subject.

How you can access and update your information

Following the closure of the charity, you will no longer be able to contact Age UK Mid Devon to amend your personal data, or to request a copy or deletion of your data.
 
Data will continue to be held by a trusted third party, who will not access or process personal data except to comply with a legal obligation or to process a claim.

Website recording

Our web site may also use the SessionCam web site recording service. SessionCam is a product that has been developed by ServiceTick Ltd. SessionCam may record mouse clicks, mouse movements, page scrolling and any text keyed into website forms. The information collected does not include bank details or any sensitive personal data. Data collected by SessionCam from the ServiceTick website is for Age UK Enteprises’s internal use only. The information collected is used to improve our website usability and is stored and used for aggregated and statistical reporting.
