Our Care Services are registered as a domiciliary care provider with the Care Quality Commission and have a 3-star, excellent rating. We have 30 paid, experienced support workers who can provide home-based respite for older people (50+) being cared-for by a friend or relative.
- The worker will sit with the person and carry out tasks that the carer would usually do, which may include assisting with refreshments, toileting, rehabilitative activities.
- The service is available between 9am – 10pm Monday to Friday, although some weekend cover is available.
- Language skills include Bengali/Sylheti, Turkish and Somali.
- The service is continuous and the needs of both carer and cared-for are regularly reviewed.
- This service can only be accessed by having a social services assessment of the carer and cared-for, and our team can refer you if required.
