Health and Safety Coordinator, Littlehampton

12-15 hours per week. Salary £12.47 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Coordinator who will be required to support and maintain the development of a Health & Safety plan that satisfies all legal and site requirements. You will provide leadership, advice and support to managers and staff on all health and safety matters for the organisation. You will ensure that all legislative requirements under health & safety are met and maintained to the highest standards. Travel between all our sites is an essential part of this role.

Centre Activity Worker, Haywards Heath

12 hours a week, Thursday & Friday 9am - 3pm.  Salary £8.45 per hour

An enthusiastic and capable individual is required to join our team at our Haywards Heath to run activities and assist our members whilst they attend the centre. The successful candidate will be running activities, encouraging our members to join in and these will include discussion, art and craft groups plus you will also deliver chair-based exercise sessions, for which training will be provided if necessary. A friendly and fun disposition is essential as some experience of running activities for older people.

We moved into a brand new centre in Haywards Heath and it is an exciting time to join our committed small team of staff and volunteers in this hands-on role.

Mid Sussex Centres Bank Activity Worker

Hours will be between 9.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Salary £8.24 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person who would enjoy assisting members in our centres in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. You will be running activities and encouraging our members to join in; these will include groups such as discussion, art and craft, plus chair-based exercise for which you will receive training, as well as serving lunch. A friendly and fun disposition is essential as well as some experience of running activities for older people.

This position requires great flexibility as the hours will not be the same every week and you will be required to cover staff holiday, sickness and other absence at either centre, some of which may be at short notice. We have recently moved to a brand new centre in Haywards Heath and it is an exciting time to join our committed small teams of staff and volunteers in a hands-on enjoyable support role. Previous applicants need not apply.

Fitness Instructor required for our Crawley Centre

8 contracted hours per week, salary £10.25 per hour

An exciting new position has been created to deliver fitness classes in our Crawley centre and community clubs in various venues in Crawley, plus to assist our Crawley Activities Manager to develop fitness classes on our activity programme. We need an enthusiastic REPS Level 2 qualified individual who will run a variety of  fitness classes each morning when the centre opens Monday to Friday and for clubs, at various times in the community, with potential for more. With good communication skills, you will enjoy delivering fitness classes that are fun and social and can offer great customer service.

Relative Support Co-ordinator

The Relative Support Co-ordinators work at Bognor War Memorial Hospital and Crawley Hospital providing information and advice on the range of issues that can arise resulting from patients and families having to make life changing decisions in relation to ongoing care and housing options.

You will be required to work 3 hours per shift, Monday to Saturday from 18.00 to 21.00 hours, £8.80 per hour.

Help at Home - Home Helpers required

This position is a self employed role, you advise us of your availability, and will be responsible for your own Tax and National Insurance payments. We especially need home helpers in Bognor Regis, Chichester and Selsey areas, and also the Crawley and Mid-Sussex areas.  Hourly rates of pay vary from £10-£14 depending on area worked.
