Age UK London is developing a range of resources to upskill older Londoners on how to use digital campaigning tools to get older Londoners voices heard.

This project will enable older Londoners to learn how to use digital tools and cascade their learning to other older people and their organisations across London.

Age UK London will deliver in-person training workshops, information and support on how to use a range of tools including E- consultations, E-petitions, surveys, video conferencing, social media platforms and a range of useful apps and platforms.

Digital Campaigning Workshops

The first in-person workshop during December 2022 was well received with all participants reporting that it had increased their understanding of digital campaigning.

You can download the presentation from our ‘Introduction to digital campaigning’ workshop here.

Our second workshop 'Digital Campaigning - Using social media to get your voice heard' took place in February 2023 and also received good feedback.

One attendee Valerie said: "Thank you for the course on using social media to get our voices heard. It helped me to recall and revise processes as well as to learn new pathways; I also feel motivated to continue exploring and learning with social media. It really will open up avenues of information, discussion, ideas and activities."
