Levi Roots guest instructor in Age UK Barnet men's cookery class

Celebrity chef and entrepreneur Levi Roots dropped in on Age UK Barnet men’s cookery session to show the men how to make his famous jerk chicken.

The men, who attend the men's cookery at Hartley Hall in Mill Hill, were delighted be guided through his signature dish.

 'Levi was charasmatic and interesting - and the chicken was delicious!' says attendee Roger, a men's cookery regular.

And Nancy, who normally runs the sessions, said she also picked up a few interesting tips from his Caribbean style of cooking.

Levi thoroughly enjoyed himself: 'They were a lovely bunch of guys and we cooked up a great lunch. Hopefully they have all gone home with a few new skills and a delicious, nutritious dish they can all cook for themselves again.'
