Give fundraising a try!

You will be busy, you will make new friends, experience a whole new world and you never know, maybe it could be the beginning of a 'new you'. We need you and you personally can make a difference.

Try one of these fundraising ideas:

  • A bridge afternoon
  • Strawberries and cream tea in the summer
  • Mince pies and mulled wine in the winter
  • A Lenten lunch
  • Fancy dress party
  • A raffle
  • Bingo/Quiz night
  • Black tie dinner
  • A treasure hunt

Or how about getting that old bike out of the shed and finding a sponsored bike ride?  If running is more your style, start training and run in aid of Age UK Berkshire.

Why not take part in the Big Knit?

The Age UK/Innocent Smoothies Big Knit is back for 2021! So grab your needles and your yarn and get knitting smoothie hats for Age UK.

This is a perfect opportunity to take up a new fun activity in lockdown while also supporting us. Help us be there for older people who have no one else to turn to.

All you have to do is knit as many or few little hats as you like, with any pattern you fancy, and pop them in the post to us at:

Age UK Berkshire, Unit 119, Broad Street Mall, Reading RG1 7QE

Alternatively, you can drop them at our office.

Please note that for us to recieve any funds raised from the hats you create, they must be sent to or dropped off at our local branch rather than the national Age UK.
