Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals living with dementia and their carers in Sandwell? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dementia Friendly Activity Officer to join our team.
As a dementia friendly activity officer, you will be responsible for planning and organizing activities that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of individuals living with dementia & their carers. You will work to create a supportive and engaging environment that promotes social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being.
Key responsibilities include developing and delivering a wide range of activities such as music therapy, art classes, reminiscence sessions, and sensory stimulation exercises across the towns of Sandwell.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in dementia care and a creative approach to developing innovative and inclusive activities.
