About us
Age UK Birmingham is a local charity which grew out of some of the former Age Concern charities across the city.
We work in the community to support older people, their families and carers. We want everyone to be able to love later life.
Who we are
Age UK Birmingham is an independent local charity, working alongside Age Uk Sandwell to support the older people of the City of Birmingham and the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell. We've been working in the local community to help older people for 30 years in various forms.

Where you can find us
Our main office is based in Stratford House, Stratford Place, not far the from the city centre and we have a number day centres across Birmingham and a charity shop in Hamstead.
How we are funded
We rely on your support to keep serving the community. We are supported by donations from the public, income from our charity shops, and some charitable grants and some support from the Big Lottery Fund and Birmingham City Council.
