£12,670 per annum, paid monthly in arrears
20 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 1.15pm

Could you help us to support older people to have a better quality of life?  Do you have the skills to help people access their rights and entitlements?  Then this role is for you! Our Advice & Information service for older people deals with thousands of enquiries per year across two offices and outreach provision. This role will deliver the organisation’s Advice & Information service in Darwen, providing a high quality, customer focussed service including case work.  The service offers support on a wide range of issues including welfare benefits and the Care Act, working with a small team of volunteers.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated individual who has experience of welfare rights, of providing advice to the public and a knowledge of the needs of older people. Excellent communication skills, good organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative are also essential.
