Age UK Bradford District are continuing to receive a huge number of calls regarding the Coronavirus and are acutely aware of the concerns that the public have with regards to older people.

Mark Rounding, Chief Executive, comments as follows.

"If you know an older person who is concerned about the Coronavirus then it would be really helpful if you stay in touch with them over the phone; see if they need any help with shopping supplies and encourage them to stay active in the house.

More generally, members of the public can volunteer with Age UK Bradford District where we provide a range of support for older people along with information and advice. Volunteering could include helping out with food deliveries, making wellbeing calls and more.

If you are interested in volunteering please call 01274 391190 or email info@ageukbd.org.uk
