This course uses Microsoft Windows 10, but don't worry if your laptop has Windows 7 or 8 - you will still learn how to use it effectively.

The course lasts for 12 weeks and covers

  • Using your computer 'offline'
    • this includes creating documents and simple spreadsheets
  • Using computer 'online'
    • this includes using the internet for things like shopping and emailing.  Our emphasis is on being safe and secure when online and helping you feel confident in using this technology to make your life easier.
  • Storing things and Organising your computer
    • this includes items such as photos, documents and music
  • The last three sessions of our courses are used for revision, any questions that you may have after practicing the topics covered over the course and to catch up on any session that you may have missed.
