Voting has now Closed
Thank you to everyone for your support but voting has now closed in our Upcycling Retail Superhero Challenge. The votes are being counted and the winner will be announced later on 2nd August 2021!
As part of encouraging us all to think more sustainably and creatively when it comes to fashion and shopping, a few weeks ago Age UK BRWF's Retail Team launched its Upcycling Retail Superhero Challenge!
Members of the local community were encouraged to become their local Age UK BRWF Charity Shop’s Upcycling Superhero, and were given a £10 Credit Note to acquire items from their shop to upcycle/ rework to create a new outfit or item!
Our thanks to the amazing volunteers who have taken part! We have had some amazing and very different entries, from clothing to furniture, demonstrating the different ways in which we can all upcycle and think more sustainably.
You can vote for your favourite entry by completing the short form below (please note that it is one vote per person). You have until Sunday 1st August to vote. The winning Superhero will be announced on Monday 2nd August, with the winner receiving a prize that includes a voucher from the Brenda Killigrew Sewing Studio, a voucher from Nature’s Intention and an ‘Afternoon Tea for Two’ at Victoria Plums Kitchen.
