Assistant Charity Shop Manager

Part time: 15 Hours per week
Salary: £7.50 per hour
Location: Aylesbury High Street

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the shop together with high standards of presentation and customer service.

You will be customer focused with strong communication skills, enthusiasm, stamina and resilience. You will have a flair for merchendising to optimise sales and a positive "can do" attitude. You will have full accountability in the absence of the shop Manager, leading a small friendly team of volunteers.

To raise funds and the profile of Age UK Buckinghamshire (AUKB) by maximising sales and profitability, whilst communicating Age UK Buckinghamshire’s Services

We are looking for local people to provide help with general cleaning, laundry, prescription collection and shopping for older people in their homes. When older people no longer find it easy to do housework, Age UK Buckinghamshire will provide friendly, competent Home Helpers as regularly as they wish.

We are looking for committed, caring and personable adults who want to help older people whilst earning.You will be a freelance agent, make your own appointments directly with older people and will be responsible for your own costs, including transport.  You will be Disclosure and Barring Scheme (DBS), formerly Criminal Record Bureau, checked and need to provide references.

Freelance Gardening Agents

We are looking for local people to provide a gardening service for older people in Bucks.  When older people are unable to do their own gardening and prefer someone to visit their home, Age UK Buckinghamshire will provide friendly, competent gardeners as regularly as they wish.

You will be a freelance agent, make your own appointments directly with older people and be responsible for your own costs, including transport. You will be CRB checked and need to provide references.

Our gardening service is a mobile, reasonably priced and adapted to meet the needs of older people and provided throughout the county.

We are looking for local people to provide hairdressing for older people in their homes.  When older people are unable to visit salons or prefer hairdressing at home, Age UK Buckinghamshire will provide friendly, competent hairdressers as regularly as they wish.

You will be a freelance agent, make your own appointments directly with older people and be responsible for your own costs, including transport. You will be CRB checked and need to provide references.

Our hairdressing service is a mobile service providing a wide range of treatments, reasonably priced and adapted to meet the needs of older people and provided throughout the county.
