Cyber Surgeries – New Sessions available for Apple Users
We are offering three 1-hour advice sessions to people who use Apple iPad or iPhone in the morning on Thursday 25th August at the Jubilee Centre. Call 0161 763 9030 to book now.
Bookings for people who use apple or android tablets and smartphones are available from mid-September.
Diana’s Classes
Diana is off on her holidays next week and all classes have been cancelled. Diana will return on Tuesday 16th August.
Special Quiz & Bingo Afternoon at the Jubilee
On Wednesday 17th August, The Jubilee Centre will be welcoming seven members of staff from Crown Oil, a national fuel and lubricants supplier that’s based in Bury. They have kindly volunteered to run our Quiz and Bingo afternoon so do join us for a very special afternoon.
Appeal for your old coins!
We have a new way for people to donate to Age UK Bury. We can now collect your old British and foreign currency. You can donate those old £1 coins, shillings, farthings and thruppenny bits, as well those left-over holiday spends.
We can accept coins or notes. We have donation points at our Jubilee Centre and both our charity shops and if you have a great big bucket of old coins you cant carry in, we will pop round and collect. Call us on 0161 7623 9030 to arrange a collection.
Every mark, drachma, lira, escudo and peseta will support our services in the borough of Bury. Thank you.
Bury Older Person’s Network
The meeting of the Bury Older Person's Network scheduled for Wednesday 10th August 2022 has been cancelled.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday 14th September at Bury Unitarian Church, Bank St, Bury BL9 0DN starting at 10.30am and finishing by 12.30pm followed by lunch. To book your place or for more information, please contact Bury VCFA at networks@buryvcfa.org.uk
