Stay Warm This Winter
Living in a cold home can damage your health. So our Warm Homes programme is designed to help you stay warm and well through the cold months.
The Warm Homes programme can help you in two ways:
- Help increase your income to pay for energy bills
- Help make your home more energy efficient so you can stay warm in the winter.

Our services for you
Domestic Services
Our excellent team of Home Helpers can do your cleaning and shopping and assist with visits to the shops or to appointments. They provide a friendly face weekly or fortnightly, helping you to remain independent in your own home.
Support after Hospital
This service offers practical support on discharge from hospital including transport and immediate support at home
Befriending Services
We offer a befriending service for any older person who feels lonely or isolated and try to support them to lead a more fullfilling life.
Help with benefits
We give advice, information and general help to people aged 50+ on everything from welfare benefits, money matters, consumer issues, leisure activities and much more.
Companionship
We have friendly centres across Kirklees and Halifax where older people can get together for a chat, lots of different activities and a hot and healthy midday meal. All our centres are fully accessible.
Help wth mobility
We sell a range of high quality mobility and living aids, from hand rails to stairlifts and our dedicated staff will take time to understand your needs and explain how things work.
